Just received the latest edition of Macworld magazine, and discovered that they've included one of my screensavers (colobar) on the cd. Excellent! (bit surprised that they didn't get in touch to ask first - is this normal?)

I did a few screensavers and was always getting emails from MacFan, a Japanese magazine. They asked for permission, and I was glad to give it to them. I think it's the polite thing to do, so I'm surprised that Macworld did not ask you first. At the end of the day they are making money from your hard work and it's nice to get some kind of recognition for your work.
Hi Chris, that's what I thought. I too have had emails from Mac Fan, and a couple of other Japanese mags. Obviously I'm please that Macworld has taken it on (and it's free anyway), but an emai at least would have been nice.
